~Apple is an ASCA Hall Of Fame (HOF) dam, due to her exceptional progeny!~

Scroll to bottom of the page for pedigree.

Apple is the absolute fastest and most agile dog I’ve ever owned. If there’s something to be on, under, around, or through, she’s got it covered. Apple is also the dog with the most personality I’ve thus far had the chance to work with. She’s always ready with a play-bow or a butt wiggle. She plays jokes and I swear she’s laughing sometimes.

APPLE JUMPING, SUMMER 2017

Apple comes from Fairoaks Kennel, a Hall of Fame kennel with a 50+ year history of producing versatile working and sporting dogs. Apple’s speed and balanced movement coupled with her can-do personality make her quite unstoppable. She is a proven producer of pups that exhibit aptitude on all fronts.

APPLE WORKING SHEEP AT SLIDING S

What is Linebreeding? Linebreeding is purposeful breeding of close but not immediate relatives to fix desired and sometimes recessive genetic traits. Apple is closely linebred, as you can see from reading the pedigree below. I knew what qualities I wanted–speed, personality, health, trainability, balance, working drive, and more–and sought a dog with a very high chance of having those qualities. Linebreeding means she had a much higher chance of maturing into the same specific type of dog that her close ancestors were. When I bred Apple, she was always bred to a carefully selected near complete outcross. This was to introduce new genetic material from lines that I believe will complement everything that makes Apple so wonderful.

Here is her long form pedigree. As you can see, she goes back to founding Aussie stock in just a few generations.
